Rick May, B.S., M.S.
We studied ways to prevent dehydration during prolonged operational dives in warm water. Rick went on to serve as the Commanding Officer of Seal Team Five, and he is presently the Senior National Advisor to the Secretary of the Interior.

Kalev Freeman

Kalev Freeman, M.D., Ph.D.
Kalev started his research career in the lab as a biology major and an NCAA wrestler. He is now a tenured associate professor of emergency medicine and surgery at Vermont. We continue our collaborations, today.

Chris Fox

Chris Fox, M.D.
Chris started his biomedical career in the lab as an NCAA scholar athlete before going on to play professional hockey. He is now an associate professor of neuro-surgery and senior consultant in cerebrovascular neurosurgery at the Mayo Clinic.

Ryan Woodman

Ryan Woodman, M.D.
Ryan is a competitive cyclist and began his biomedical career as an undergraduate in the lab in San Diego. He recently became an assistant professor of endocrinology and medicine at the University of California, Davis. 

Trish Malcolm

Trish Malcolm, M.D.
Trish is one of our more recent trainees and is now a surgical resident.

Henri Vaitkevicius, M.D.
Henri is a former NCAA fencing athlete at Wayne State University and now assistant professor of neurology and critical care at Harvard.
